About Operation Thank an Officer Scholarships

Operation Thank an Officer offers four scholarships per year – two for High School seniors and two for college students. Please carefully read through the rules to ensure that you qualify for the scholarship you’re applying to.

Since the inception of our scholarship program, we’ve gifted over $20,000 to applicants to pursue their dreams. We’ve been able to capture stories and share excepts from their applications here on our website. You can read more about our previous winners on our blog

In addition to the four scholarships offered directly by Operation Thank an Officer, we sponsor an additional scholarship called the State Trooper Joshua Orbeck Memorial Scholarship. More details on this scholarship can be found on our partner website at: https://orbeckmemorial.com/

I wanted to express my gratitude for the scholarship foundation and the principles it lives by. I have been so blessed to receive this scholarship because I know that some of my finances for school are being covered. I am currently attending Northern Arizona University and am studying biomedical science. The first few weeks were a major transition for me, but now that I’ve gotten into the swing of things classes aren’t too bad. Loving the fall weather here in Flagstaff and making some lifelong friends.

Thank you again for your generous donation and thank you for all the other lives you will touch with this scholarship.
